Is Masturbation Healthy?

Masturbation
is a topic no one had ever wanted to speak about almost anyone does it. Does it have health benefits or does it cause some diseases? Let's find out.

A study revealed that 95% of men and 89% of women masturbated at least once in their lifetime. Masturbation is a sexual arousal or stimulation of person's genitals resulting to orgasms. I already discussed the health benefits of sex and the different positive effects of kissing, below are the proven health benefits of masturbation.

1. Masturbation relieves stress, tension and anxiety
When you masturbate, you feel relaxed and comfortable. Being in a peaceful environment is a good thing for mental health.

2. Relieves muscle pain, menstrual cramps and headaches
Sexual genital stimulation and actual sex activity has few similar health benefits. When a person experience sexual arousal and orgasm, numerous hormones are released to the body which helps in relieving headache, muscle pain and other body ailments.

3. Strengthens the bones and immune system
Masturbation promotes healthy flow of testosterone, resulting to a strong immune system and healthy bone structure.

4. Helps lower your risk of prostate cancer
Testosterone in men also provides the protection from prostate cancer. Masturbation and sex helps regulate its flow.

5. Healthy reproductive organs in women
During sexual arousal, estrogen levels in women arises which helps keeping the reproductive organs healthy. Estrogen are also responsible for a healthy skin and hair.

6. Reduce depression
Endorphins are released through exercise, a good masturbation also results in a similar effect which helps reduce mental depression.

7. Healthy blood circulation
Masturbation promotes healthy blood circulation and proven effective in improving blood cholesterol level.

Masturbation does not pose any threat of disease infection because of its non sexual physical contact. Unless there's an object used such as a toy or any things during any masturbation activity that are not properly sanitized or cannot be sanitized. Then it can result to some infections, allergies or minor diseases.

In summary, masturbation does not pose any negative effects to your health instead it promotes various health benefits. A person who masturbate 3 times a week in average are more prone to its positive effects. Too much masturbation have been link in most sexual and non sexual diseases known today but does not conclude that it is the main cause of it.
